Set on the edge of Grendon Village, this former equestrian site offered a rare opportunity to create a boutique residential development in a truly idyllic setting. With far-reaching views across the Nene Valley and surrounding open countryside, the site comprised approximately 1.46 acres and included a substantial detached bungalow and yard. Full planning permission had been granted for the construction of five new dwellings while retaining the original residence, providing a total of six high-end homes.
The property was launched to the market under a sealed bids process and successfully sold in October 2020. Working in close collaboration with Seagrave Developments, we managed the marketing and discreet off-market sale of the individual homes throughout 2021. The demand for well-designed rural properties was high, and each unit was secured without the need for public advertising. Seagrave’s contemporary architectural approach and premium finish continued to raise the bar for village developments, and our strong partnership on this site culminated in a total gross development value exceeding £4.2 million.
